Iranian Foreign Ministry Comments on Tomorrow’s Nuclear Negotiations with Washington
The Iranian Foreign Ministry, through its spokesman Ismail Baqaei, confirmed that the nuclear negotiations scheduled for June 15 with Washington have not been canceled, and no final decision has been made yet regarding their status.
Earlier, Baqaei stated that the negotiations had become “meaningless” following the Israeli attack on Iran, asserting that “no reasonable party” would believe that Israel carried out this attack without coordination or approval from the United States.
These statements come amid significant military escalation, with the Israeli army launching Operation “Rising Lion” against Iranian sites, targeting nuclear and military facilities, while the Iranian Revolutionary Guard responded with Operation “Promised Truth 3.” Oman has been hosting these talks since April and is overseeing the sixth round scheduled in Muscat.
