Breaking | Israeli Airstrikes Hit Southern Lebanon and Western Bekaa

The Israeli military said its warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes targeting what it described as training camps and military infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, adding that this marked the second such round within a week.

Our correspondent in southern Lebanon and the western Bekaa reported that Israeli warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes early Friday, targeting several areas across southern Lebanon and the western Bekaa.

According to field information, the strikes hit the Rayhan heights and the Jarmaq area, as well as the surroundings of the towns of Ansar and Zrariyeh, an area that includes the outskirts of Bissariyeh, the town of Tebna, and the zone between Bnaafoul and Houmine.

The strikes also targeted the Hima area of the town of Zallaya in the western Bekaa, amid intensive overflights by Israeli warplanes in the affected areas.

No official information has so far been released regarding casualties or the extent of the damage, while the Israeli military has not issued an immediate comment on the strikes.
