Syria Implements Kurdish Language Education under Decree 13 amid Unknown Spraying Concerns

Syrian authorities on Tuesday issued executive instructions to introduce Kurdish language education into school curricula, following Presidential Decree No. 13 concerning the rights of Syrian Kurdish citizens. The Ministry of Education tasked the National Center for Curriculum Development with preparing Kurdish language materials for all educational levels within six months, with preparation and printing to be completed before the start of the new school year.

Unknown Substances Sprayed in Rural Quneitra

Syrian media reported on Tuesday that Israeli aircraft sprayed unknown substances over agricultural lands in the Quneitra area in southwestern Syria for the second consecutive day. The news channel reported that the aircraft flew at low altitudes while dispersing unidentified pesticides, raising concerns over potential toxicity to vegetation and pastures.

The Quneitra Agriculture Directorate, in cooperation with the Environmental Directorate, began collecting samples on Monday from plants that were sprayed with the unknown substance to assess its impact on farmland and local crops.
