Start of Mandatory Service in the Jordanian Army at Shuweir Camp

The first batch of recruits for mandatory service joined the training center at Shuweir Camp to begin mandatory service in the Jordanian Army, following the completion of all call-up procedures electronically and the organized transport of recruits from across the country.

Jordan’s Crown Prince, Hussein bin Abdullah, addressed the recruits in a message urging discipline and service to the country, wishing them success and safety. He stated: “Discipline, service, honor to the nation… best wishes and safety to all of you.”

The Director of the Mobilization and Popular Army Department confirmed that Shuweir Training Center has been comprehensively upgraded, including infrastructure improvements, training staff development, modern residential and service facilities, continuous monitoring and supervision, and a 24-hour medical center, as part of a national plan to prepare Jordanian youth and promote values of citizenship and responsibility.
