Netanyahu on Operation “Golden Bracelets”: “Those Who Don’t Understand Force Will Understand More Force”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated on Wednesday that Israel “responds to anyone who attacks us, and those who do not understand this through force will understand it through more force.”

The remarks came in an official statement following a series of Israeli airstrikes targeting Sana’a International Airport in Yemen.

Netanyahu Points to Iran as the Driving Force Behind Attacks from Yemen

Netanyahu described the Yemeni group Ansar Allah as a “front” and claimed that Iran is “the main power behind the attacks originating from Yemen,” according to his statement.

“Golden Bracelets” Operation: A Show of Force

According to Israel’s Channel 12, Netanyahu received a detailed briefing on the operation while attending a court session. The report stated that more than ten Israeli fighter jets took part in the airstrikes, which were code-named “Golden Bracelets.”

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant confirmed that the Israeli Air Force had carried out precision strikes on targets inside Sana’a International Airport. He stated that the attack destroyed “the last remaining aircraft” at the airport, noting that other aircraft had been destroyed in a previous airstrike on May 6.

Airstrikes Reportedly Hit Airport Runway and Civilian Aircraft

Meanwhile, Yemeni media reported that Israeli air raids targeted the airport runway and a civilian aircraft operated by Yemen Airways. According to the reports, four airstrikes were conducted on the airport on Wednesday.
