Netanyahu responds to the attack on Soroka Hospital

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to respond to the attacks that targeted multiple locations in Israel, including Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva. In a post on the “X” platform, Netanyahu stated that missiles were launched from Iran this morning toward Soroka Hospital and civilians in central Israel, emphasizing that his country will hold Tehran accountable for these attacks.

Iran launched a missile attack on Thursday morning, followed by a drone strike targeting four areas within Israel. The bombardment caused damage to several buildings, including a direct hit on the Israeli Stock Exchange building in Ramat Gan, east of Tel Aviv, according to Israeli media sources.

Israeli media reported that Soroka Hospital, one of the largest hospitals in southern Israel, sustained damage from a missile strike. The “Maariv” newspaper reported a hazardous material leak at the hospital located in the Negev region.
