Qatari-Iranian nuclear communication
Today, Saturday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, stressed the importance of reaching a nuclear agreement with Iran, to be followed by other agreements on comprehensive security in the region.
Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman said, during his participation in one of the sessions of the Doha Forum currently being held in Qatar, that “it is important for us to see stability in our region,” stressing that “dialogue constitutes an important step to increase security and stability,” according to the Qatari newspaper.
He also added, “We believe in diplomatic solutions to maintain global security, and the solution to crises is through the dialogue and diplomacy table,” continuing: “We are against aggression against the sovereignty of any country and interference in internal affairs.”
He also pointed out that “geopolitical crises have an impact on the entire world, and the repercussions of the war in Ukraine included everyone,” stressing the need to “deal with the region’s problems with the same commitment that the world dealt with the Ukrainian crisis.”
And the Qatari foreign minister added: “There are concerns among the parties to the war in Ukraine, and we call for addressing these concerns peacefully.
