Saudi Foreign Ministry Comments on Developments in the Rural Dara’a – Koya

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia expressed its strong condemnation of the Israeli airstrike targeting the town of Koya in the Yarmouk Basin region in Daraa Governorate, southern Syria, which resulted in casualties and injuries among civilians.

In a statement issued this morning, the ministry reiterated its firm rejection of what it described as “repeated violations” that threaten security and stability in Syria and the region, emphasizing the importance of respecting international law and human rights principles.

The Kingdom also called for intensified efforts to find comprehensive political solutions that ensure security and stability in the region and end the suffering of peoples caused by conflicts and foreign interventions.
