SDAIA: A Step Towards Building Technological Partnership Between Saudi Arabia and Syria

During his visit to the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara discussed ways to benefit from modern technologies in the fields of artificial intelligence and big data within the framework of Saudi Vision 2030, as well as digital transformation mechanisms and their impact on the development of service and economic sectors.

SDAIA officials presented an overview of the Kingdom’s digital economy system, along with explanations from the National Cybersecurity Authority and the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority, focusing on streamlining government procedures and enhancing the efficiency of digital services.

Additionally, the Chairman of the National Cybersecurity Authority, Musaed bin Mohammed al-Aiban, highlighted Saudi Arabia’s efforts to leverage artificial intelligence technologies to support various sectors, pointing to practical examples such as the “Tawakkalna” app, which helps improve access to government services with flexibility and security.
