Syria on the Anniversary of the 2023 Earthquake Disaster | Solidarity Vigils in Damascus, Idlib, and Homs

On the second anniversary of the devastating earthquake that struck northwestern Syria on February 6, 2023, the Syrian Civil Defense and several civil organizations organized a memorial vigil to honor the victims and survivors of the tragedy.

Solidarity gatherings were held in various locations, including Umayyad Square in Damascus, as well as in the provinces of Idlib and Homs. Volunteers and participants came together to commemorate the victims and emphasize the importance of community solidarity in facing disasters.
