The Syrian government raises the price of these two basic materials

Today, Saturday, the Syrian government raised the price of bread and diesel, which have been subsidized by the state for decades.
The Syrian Ministry of Internal Trade said that the price of a bundle of bread was raised to 200 Syrian pounds instead of 100 pounds.
The price of a liter of diesel was also raised to 500 Syrian pounds.
It is noteworthy that before the outbreak of the bloody events in Syria in 2011, the price of a liter of diesel was 15 Syrian pounds, and the price of a bundle of bread, which is the main food for the population in the country, was also 15 Syrian pounds.
