The United States has halted intelligence sharing with Ukraine in an effort to force it to accept peace and end the war with Russia.
According to the Financial Times, Washington has completely frozen intelligence channels with Kyiv, effectively stopping the exchange of intelligence information.
This move hinders Ukraine’s ability to target Russian forces, as U.S. intelligence cooperation is crucial for Ukraine’s capability to identify and strike Russian targets.
Fox News quoted the Director of the U.S. Intelligence Agency as saying that Washington is looking to resume arms shipments and intelligence sharing with Kyiv, but only on the condition that Ukraine agrees to pursue peace.
Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump, in his first speech before Congress, stated: “I appreciate Zelensky’s stance and the message he sent regarding Ukraine’s willingness to sit at the negotiating table and its readiness to sign the metals agreement.”
He also noted that he had held talks with Russia, which has expressed its willingness to achieve peace. Trump emphasized that it is time to end this senseless war, as he put it.
