Ceasefire Provides Time to Prepare for U.S.-Israeli Attacks on Iran
Dr. Ibrahim Motaghi, an Iranian expert on American affairs, predicted that U.S.-Israeli attacks on Iran will resume within the next week at the latest, considering that the current ceasefire offers both sides an opportunity to rebuild their operational capabilities.
In an interview with Iranian state radio and television, Motaghi explained that the ceasefire carries different meanings for each party, noting that Tehran generally leans toward peace in the absence of aggression, while Washington and Tel Aviv view the truce as a means to reposition and prepare for a second phase of operations.
He warned of potential surprises, including attacks on strategic facilities and sensitive individuals, urging the development of Iran’s defensive capabilities in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, microelectronics, and target dispersion.
Meanwhile, Iranian political expert Majid Abbasi stressed the importance of not allowing the enemy to recover during the ceasefire, calling for strengthening digital sovereignty and expelling international agency inspectors to face a potential “hybrid war.”
