Trump: Quadrupling U.S. Weapons Production for Exquisite Class 4 Times
U.S. President Donald Trump announced that major U.S. defense companies have agreed to quadruple U.S. weapons production of the “Exquisite Class” category four times, aiming to increase military stockpiles and accelerate production schedules.
Trump said that the meeting, held with top executives from companies including BAE Systems, Boeing, Honeywell Aerospace, L3 Harris, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and Raytheon, was “extremely productive,” focusing on expanding production and establishing new factories.
The U.S. President noted that expansion efforts had begun three months prior to the meeting, and that the United States possesses substantial supplies of medium- and high-caliber munitions, with increased orders at these levels, citing their use in multiple regions, including Iran and Venezuela.
Trump added that the meeting concluded with plans for a follow-up session in two months, with several U.S. states competing to host the new factories, in an effort to enhance U.S. weapons production capabilities more quickly and efficiently.
