UAE and Iran Phone Call Focuses on Regional Developments

UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a phone call on Monday morning with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi, during which they discussed overall regional conditions, ongoing developments in the Middle East, and bilateral relations between the UAE and Iran.

According to a statement from the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs , the two ministers reviewed the latest regional updates, emphasizing the importance of enhancing cooperation and following up on issues of mutual interest.

From the Iranian side, Abbas Araghchi stressed the importance of dialogue and joint regional efforts to preserve peace and stability , particularly regarding developments in Yemen. He called for safeguarding Yemen’s unity and territorial integrity through an inclusive Yemeni-led dialogue, according to Iran’s ISNA news agency.

Both sides also expressed satisfaction with the growth of bilateral relations, underscoring the importance of maintaining dialogue and diplomatic cooperation amid ongoing regional challenges.
