Which countries have determined the date of Eid al-Fitr so far?

Saudi Arabia announced that tomorrow, Sunday, March 30, 2025, will be the first day of Eid al-Fitr for this year, according to the decision of the Supreme Court after the moon sighting was confirmed.

Similarly, Lebanon, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait announced that Sunday will mark the beginning of Eid. Turkey also set the same date to celebrate the occasion.

In contrast, other countries have set Monday, March 31, 2025, as the date for Eid, with the Australian Fatwa Council announcing that the conditions for moon sighting were not met on Saturday evening. This was also confirmed by Syria, Oman, Jordan, Indonesia, and Bangladesh.
