Abbas Araghchi Clarifies Decision to Postpone Iran-U.S. Negotiation Session

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi clarified that the decision to postpone talks between Washington and Tehran was due to logistical and technical factors, stressing that this does not affect efforts to reach a negotiated agreement.

In a post on the platform “X,” Araghchi confirmed that the postponement was coordinated with both Omani and American mediators, emphasizing that Iran remains committed to a negotiated solution and is more determined than ever to reach a fair and balanced agreement.

He pointed out that the primary goal is to end the sanctions and ensure the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear program permanently, while preserving the rights of the Iranian people.

Earlier, Oman and Iran had announced the postponement of the next round of talks, which was scheduled to take place this coming Saturday, due to logistical circumstances.
