Artist Hamada Helal Targeted by Fake Ad: A Warning About AI

Egyptian singer and actor Hamada Helal has warned his fans against falling victim to artificial intelligence scams, after a fake advertisement went viral using his image and voice to promote a suspicious online game.
Helal shared the video of the ad on his personal Instagram account, commenting: “Fraud and deception. God is my witness.”
The fabricated ad showed the artist seemingly encouraging viewers to download the game and pay to play, promising financial rewards that could be withdrawn from any bank. The ad convincingly featured Helal’s real voice and gestures, making it appear highly authentic.
In a separate development, Hamada Helal is planning a return to cinema after an absence of more than eight years. His last film, “Shantet Hamza” (Hamza’s Bag), was released in 2017.
According to media reports, the Egyptian star is preparing for a new comedy film project, with production expected to begin soon.
