Australian Reality TV Star Arrested in Connection with Alleged Murder of Partner

Australian police have arrested reality television personality Tamika Swain Rose Chesser, 34, on charges of murdering her partner, Julian Storey, following the discovery of his dismembered and burned remains inside an apartment in the city of Port Lincoln.

According to a report published by The Daily Telegraph, Chesser—formerly a contestant on the show Beauty and the Geek Australia—was formally charged with murder two days after the remains of 39-year-old Storey were found. Police confirmed that the victim’s head has not yet been located.

Incident Overview

The incident took place on June 17, when authorities responded to a report of a small fire at a residential property. Upon arrival, officers discovered dismembered human remains in the bathroom. Chief Inspector Darren Fielke stated during a press briefing:

> “We have not yet located Julian Storey’s head. The motive behind the incident remains unclear. Recovering the missing remains is important for allowing the family to hold a proper funeral and achieve closure.”

Surveillance Footage and Ongoing Investigation

Authorities released surveillance footage showing a woman—believed to be Chesser—dressed entirely in black and walking with three dogs in a South Australian city shortly after the incident occurred. Police have appealed to local residents to review any available CCTV or dashcam footage that may assist in the investigation.

Mental State and Additional Charges

According to court documents, Chesser was found in the backyard of the property in an unresponsive and disoriented state. She now faces additional charges, including the improper disposal of human remains and assaulting a police officer.
