Official Source: Egypt’s Response Will Be Surprising to Any Threat at the Borders

North Sinai Governor Major General Khaled Moghayer affirmed that Egypt’s response will be surprising to any threat approaching the borders, emphasizing the strength of the army that he personally knows through his military experience spanning over 41 years. He clarified that Egypt’s strength is internationally recognized and no one dares to approach it.

Moghayer pointed to a shift in the international and regional stance regarding the Palestinian issue, affirming Egypt’s success in asserting its vision supporting the Palestinians and rejecting forced displacement. He highlighted the difference between Egyptian and Israeli positions. He stated that Cairo has maintained a firm stance since the beginning of the Gaza war, providing transparent and declared humanitarian aid.

The governor stressed that state achievements are often met with rumors, but he explained that the awareness of citizens and their trust in state institutions enhance their understanding of genuine efforts. He confirmed that the humanitarian and political role is recognized locally and internationally, and attempts to distort this role do not affect the reality.
