Egyptian Foreign Ministry clarifies its stance on events in northern Syria and Aleppo Governorate

The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement expressing Cairo’s close monitoring of the rapidly unfolding developments in northern Syria, particularly in Aleppo Governorate, highlighting the clashes and violent incidents affecting civilians.

The statement warned that these events could have repercussions threatening the security and stability of the Syrian state. Egypt urgently called for de-escalation, prioritizing paths of calm and dialogue, while emphasizing the need to halt all forms of violence to safeguard civilians and maintain Syria’s security and territorial integrity.
