Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that about 20 ships are waiting for their turn to load grain from Ukrainian ports.
This came in statements to reporters he made on the plane while returning from Russia,
The Turkish president also said that there are about 20 ships waiting for their turn to ship grain from Ukraine.
He pointed out that the relevant Turkish ministries, led by the Ministry of Trade, are doing what is necessary in this regard.
On Friday, the Turkish Defense Ministry revealed the departure of three cargo ships loaded with grain from the ports of Ukraine, namely “Navistar”, “Rogen” and “Polarent”.
And last Monday, the Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the launch of the first grain ship from the port of Odessa, and took a course towards the northwest of the Black Sea.
The city of Istanbul witnessed the opening of the Joint Coordination Center to ensure the safe shipment of grain from Ukrainian ports.
On July 22, multilateral agreements were signed on lifting restrictions on the supply of Russian products for export and on Russian assistance in the export of Ukrainian grain.
The agreement, signed by representatives of Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and the United Nations, includes the export of Ukrainian grain, food and fertilizer through the Black Sea from three ports, including Odessa.
