Iran missile attacks: Number doubles, operational area expands to 80,000 square kilometers.. Israel: “Heaviest sustained attack in weeks”
An informed Iranian military source told Fars News Agency that the number of missiles launched by Wednesday evening doubled compared to Monday and Tuesday, indicating a notable escalation in the pace of attacks.
The source explained that the scope of Iranian operations is not limited to Israel but extends to include northern Iraq and several US military bases in the region.
The source added that the operational area covered by today’s Iranian attacks is estimated at around 80,000 square kilometers, describing this as a “significant scale” in terms of operational and intelligence efforts.
In response, Israeli Channel 14 reported that Israel is facing the heaviest sustained attack from Iran in about three weeks, as strikes continue and air defense systems are activated.
