Live from Beirut | Israeli Airstrike on Beirut’s Southern Suburb

Israeli warplanes have just carried out an airstrike, the first of its kind since the ceasefire was declared in November 2024. The attack targeted a building in the Al-Hadath area, located in the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital, Beirut, following three warning strikes.

The airstrike came after a prior warning from the Israeli army spokesperson, who urged residents to evacuate the targeted area. Local sources reported that the attack resulted in the complete destruction of the building and caused material damage to nearby structures. However, no confirmed reports of casualties have emerged yet.

This attack marks a significant escalation, as it is the first time in months that a strike has targeted an area near the capital.
