New Israeli bombing of Syria

An Israeli air strike targeted sites in the vicinity of Damascus, according to what the Syrian Ministry of Defense announced. As a result, two soldiers were wounded
In the past years, Israel launched hundreds of air strikes in Syria, which targeted sites of the Syrian army and targets of the Lebanese Hezbollah, including weapons and ammunition depots in separate areas.
And the Syrian Ministry of Defense announced in a statement on behalf of a military source that “at about 1:20 am today (10:20 GMT), the Israeli enemy carried out an air aggression with a number of missiles from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting some points in the vicinity of the city of Damascus.”
The bombing resulted in the injury of two soldiers and some material losses, according to the ministry, which added that “our air defenses intercepted the aggression’s missiles and shot down some of them.”
Last week, Aleppo International Airport in northern Syria was subjected to the second Israeli bombing during the month of March. According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, it targeted a militia weapons depot, which led to the vital facility being out of service for two days.
On the seventh of March, a similar bombing put the airport out of service for days and killed three people, including a Syrian officer, according to the observatory.
