Shocking Incident in Sauna: Details of the Assault on a Young Player

Young football player Anton Mukhin, 19, suffered a serious head injury after being assaulted inside the team sauna by an official from the Russian club “Dynamo Vladivostok.”

The incident occurred last Wednesday following a dispute between Mukhin — on loan from Pari NN — and Eduard Sandler, head coach of the club’s basketball team.

Mukhin received multiple blows to the head and back, requiring hospitalization, where he was diagnosed with a concussion and other injuries.

The midfielder filed an official complaint against Sandler, prompting police to launch an investigation, gather evidence, and interview witnesses.

According to the player’s lawyer, Anton Smirnov, Sandler delivered five strong punches to Mukhin, three of which directly hit his head.

The lawyer demanded access to surveillance footage to document the incident. He stated that Mukhin’s condition is critical, with tests revealing a concussion, a cervical spine sprain, and bruising around his left eye.

Meanwhile, Dynamo Vladivostok’s management declined to comment, while Pari NN issued a statement expressing deep concern over the incident. The club affirmed its close monitoring of the investigation and its firm rejection of any form of violence in sports. It also pledged full medical and legal support for the player during this crisis.

Mukhin has played ten matches with Pari NN in the Russian Premier League and six in the Russian Cup this season before moving to Dynamo Vladivostok, where he has appeared in six matches so far.
