Arab Nation Among the World’s Top 10 Air Forces
According to the latest reports by military-focused institutions such as Flight Global and Global Firepower, the ranking of the world’s top air forces places the United States at the top with an air fleet exceeding 13,000 aircraft, followed by Russia, China, India, South Korea, Japan, and Pakistan.
The top ten list also includes Egypt, which possesses over 1,080 military aircraft, including multirole fighters, attack helicopters, transport aircraft, and airborne early warning and control planes. Its position in the ranking is attributed to a strategy of diversifying arms sources and modernizing the air fleet through procurement agreements with Russia, the United States, France, and China.
Turkey and France complete the ranking at the lower end of the top ten, while Israel does not appear on the list, highlighting the disparity between numerical fleet size and qualitative capabilities, including advanced fighter platforms and unmanned aerial vehicles.
