Reasons Behind the Travel Warning for Israelis
The Travel Warning for Israelis noted that the upcoming second anniversary of the October 7 attacks could increase militant activity in the region, raising the likelihood of attacks targeting Israelis abroad.
Timing and Connection to Jewish Holidays
The council highlighted that this warning comes ahead of the major Jewish holidays, a period when international travel by Israelis typically increases, making them more vulnerable to hostile actions.
