Truck Accident in Egypt Less Than 24 Hours After Maadi Crash – Video
A truck accident occurred Thursday on the Cairo-bound side of the Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road, near kilometer 58, involving the collision of three heavy transport trucks. The incident caused a partial disruption of traffic. Civil protection forces and Cairo traffic police were dispatched promptly to remove the damaged vehicles and restore normal traffic flow.

Security authorities received an alert about the accident, and emergency services, including ambulances and police units, arrived immediately at the scene to manage the situation and provide necessary medical assistance. This is the latest in a series of truck accidents on Egyptian roads in recent days, resulting in both human and material losses.

This crash comes less than 24 hours after another truck accident in the Maadi area of Cairo, where a speeding heavy truck struck seven cars. It also follows a deadly incident in Menoufia, in which 18 young women and a bus driver lost their lives after a truck, reportedly traveling in the wrong direction, collided with their vehicle. The recent string of truck accidents has sparked widespread public concern over the safety of heavy transport vehicles on Egypt’s roadways.
