War expansion: Israel intercepts missile fired from Yemen..
The Israeli military reported detecting a missile launch from Yemeni territory, adding that air defense systems successfully intercepted it. The military called on the public in a statement to adhere to Home Front Command civil defense instructions.
Later, the military said that after a situation assessment, civilians were permitted to leave protected areas across the country, while continuing to follow Home Front Command instructions.
Israeli media reported that sirens sounded in Beersheba, Dimona, and areas in southern Israel. No reports of casualties or material damage from the incident have been received so far.
This comes as the war between Washington and Tel Aviv on one side and Tehran on the other enters its 29th day, with exchanges of strikes on multiple fronts, the latest being Yemen, indicating an expansion of the war.
