Breaking: Armed Attack on a Syrian Ministry of Defense Facility

Local media outlets in Aleppo reported that an unknown armed group stormed a facility of the “Al-Mu’tasim Brigade,” one of the factions recently integrated into the new Syrian Ministry of Defense. The attack occurred on the Raju road in the countryside of Afrin, near the Turkish border in northern Aleppo. The assailants engaged in a firefight with the personnel present, killing all individuals at the site. The motives behind the attack remain unclear.
