Israeli Interior on a Boiling Point!

Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid called for protests against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government, stressing the need for the Israeli people to unite during this critical time for the country’s future.
The opposition also called for escalating protests against the government’s decision to resume the war on Gaza, while families of Israeli prisoners expressed their shock at the obstruction of the prisoner repatriation process.
On another front, Netanyahu’s decision to reinstate ministers from the “Otzma Yehudit” party, led by Itamar Ben Gvir, to the government sparked severe criticism. Yair Golan, leader of the Israeli Democratic Union, described Ben Gvir as “Netanyahu’s Prime Minister,” considering the current government to be “extremist and corrupt.”
In another development, the government’s legal advisor, Gali Baharav-Miara, confirmed that previous petitions against appointing Ben Gvir as Minister of National Security will be reconsidered.
