Pennsylvania in a new lawsuit about the election results

It seems that US President Donald Trump has not yet given up on the attempts to cancel the results of the presidential elections that declared his rival Joe Biden as the elected president of the United States of America, and a lawsuit is hardly rejected until another is filed.

Today, Trump asked the Supreme Court to allow him to join a lengthy lawsuit by the state of Texas demanding the annulment of his election loss by canceling the voting results in 4 states, namely Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

The Texas lawsuit was supported by the state of Pennsylvania, in addition to 16 other US states, and in a new lawsuit, Trump asked to intervene in the lawsuit for Texas, in his latest legal attempt to change the reality of the results.

In a statement, attorneys for 17 states led by Republican Attorney General of Missouri, Eric Schmidt urged the nine judges to consider the case.

The lawsuit, announced by the Republican Attorney General of Texas, Ken Paxton, targeted four states that Trump lost to Biden after his victory in the 2016 elections. However, election law experts considered that the chances of success of the suit in Texas are slim and lacking in legal merit.

Earlier in the day, Trump posted a tweet in which he said: “We will intervene in the Texas case (as well as many other states). This is the big issue. Our country needs victory.”
