Did US forces deplete their missile stockpiles in the war with Iran?

US missile stockpiles: Enough to continue Iran war currently.. but not enough to face China in coming years, and returning to pre-war levels may take several years
CNN reported, citing an analysis by the Center for Strategic and International Studies, that US forces have significantly depleted their major missile stockpiles during the military operation against Iran, using at least 45% of precision missiles and about 50% of Patriot and THAAD interceptor missiles.
The analysis indicated that the US also used about 30% of Tomahawk missiles and over 20% of JASSM, SM-3, and SM-6 missiles, and that restoring stockpiles to pre-war levels could take several years.

Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell said US forces “have everything they need” to carry out missions, but the center warned that current stockpiles are sufficient to continue fighting Iran in the short term, but not enough to face a rival like China in the coming years.
NEW DATA | The U.S. has depleted its missile inventories but still has enough to continue fighting with Iran under any plausible scenario. The risk is with future wars—particularly against a peer competitor like China.
